Graphics Converter Pro 2013 Editor's Review
'Graphics Converter Pro' is a batch graphic converter and also a picture viewer. It's input file types library is huge. It seems to support all known file types. The producer claims that 'it can import more than 500 graphic file formats and export 100 formats, including BMP, DIB, EMF, GIF, ICB, ICO, JPG, JPEG, PBM, PCD, PCX, PGM, PNG, PPM, PSD, PSP, RLE, SGI, TGA, TIF, VDA, VST, WBMP, WMF, VST, CEL, PIC, PDD'.
Even if it calls itself a 'Pro' version, my opinion is this is a very difficult to use software. It's features are only found in its menu and not listed on its interface. Even if some of the features are listed on its main window they have very small icons and some are clueless. For example, when I see a button in a shape of a palm I don't think that the associated feature is capturing a screen area. If you want to use that feature remember to set the width and height of the captured area before taking the capture. You'll see two big parts of the screen used for previewing the original and the modified picture. If you want to make some adjustments you have to press the apply button to see those adjustments on the preview area which should be done in real time. The preview areas are very wide and there is almost no way of seeing the whole picture previewed.
The user interface is far from being intuitive and well structured.
Pluses:
Drawbacks / flaws: Difficult to use.
In conclusion: For the next release I expect to see a redesigned user interface with most of the features easy to access and maybe more features.
